Daily Care

Performing a little regular maintenance plays a big role in long-lasting sharpness.

Easy care after use.

01

Clean the knife immediately after using it. Wash it thoroughly with dish soap and rinse with warm water.

02

Wipe all the moisture away with a dry cloth. Make sure there is no moisture left on the blade to prevent rust.
Do not ever put the knife in the dishwasher.

Your knife is getting dull? Then, sharpen it lightly.

01

Thoroughly wet the whetstone.

02

On a flat surface, lay a cloth or wet towel and put the whetstone on top of it. Make sure the whetstone is stable.

03

Hold the knife diagonally to the whetstone.

04

Lay the blade on the whetstone and then, slant the knife at approximately a 15-degree angle.

05

While maintaining a consistent angle, sharpen the blade slowly and evenly.

06

If the whetstone dries while sharpening, apply some more water on it.

Storage is key if you put away your knife for some time.

Apply vegetable oil to the blade, wrap it in newspaper and store the knife in a dry place.

You may be performing regular maintenance or sharpening your knife once a month, but perfect care is not something that can be easily managed at home.
Therefore, we recommend that you contact us at least once a year for professional maintenance, especially for the blade of your knife.
